Explorer Post to host pancake breakfast fundraiser for Walworth family who lost home in fire
On Friday, February 17th, the home
of Joanie Price and Lou and Joan Bauer
caught fire due to wires being blown
down in the windstorm.
Luckily, no one was injured.
However, live high tension wires had
fallen near the building and it was dangerous
for firefighters to approach the
burning house and nearly impossible to
extinguish the blaze. The house and
belongings were a total loss.
As a result of the fire, these people
lost everything they owned and have
been left without a home. The Town of
Walworth Fire Explorer Post #113 is
holding a Pancake Breakfast and donating
all profits to the Price/Bauer family.
The Benefit Breakfast will be held
Sunday, March 12th at the West
Walworth Fire Hall, 3870 West
Walworth Rd. from 8 to 11a.m. The
menu will include pancakes, scrambled
eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, muffins,
coffee, and juice. Cost:
Adults -- $5.00, Children 5-12--
$3.00, under 5 - free.
